bronze duude

what & where has you're aversion to the old orange (oring) baja come from.

this one's an audi colour that reminds me of the bold colours of the 70s (when i was a kid & did a grade 6 project on baja's & buggies).

I don't necessarily hate orange the colour and don't particulary hate it on the Baja but the paintjob is fairly crap and not doing its job of protecting the panels.

The colour orange is a fair way down the my choices page but over the last few months it has grown on us and when I scout around the panel shops for some mistint panel paint, if orange is available then I'll grab it, if not then I don't care really.

Adz was right - I have just returned from Dubbo and have applied for a couple of houses. Black, brown, grey and any other dark colours will be off the list as its bloddy hot out there!. Any white bright eye poping colours will also be off the list as I can never find my sunglasses so I was hoping a light grey, cream, green, khaki or orange.

As spook says, paint is a luxury and it's only there to prove how narrow the tracks were you pushed along on the weekend from the scraches down the side.

I HATED...and i mean HATED the orange when he bought it and kept up at him to paint it...but now i think its him. If he changes it then it wont be that same old orange Baja that everyone stares at when we drive past.....I think he should keep the orange???:party
