Now I've come across some strange uses for a splitty (air traffic control tower, crane etc), and was wondering what else everyone has come
across? And some pics too!
When I was in Japan a month ago, I saw a splitty that had been converted into a mobile espresso shop. The girl sat inside with a coffee machine, and
had a small canopy over the double doors, and even had plants and a small rock garden alongside the front of it (and yes she did set this up every
day, and drive the car home!)
Anyway let us know what you've seen!!

How about a splittie used as part of a wall? This one was at Nimbin - I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw it, I thought they had cut it in half. :o As it turned out, the thing is whole and protudes through to the inside of the shop! :thumb
yeah but kruizin kombi, did you venture inside. there is a yellow one that has been cut up and there was an orange one as well.
was up there last year and thought we would drop into nimbin to see what it was all about.
didnt take twenty seconds b4 arriving and the locals were hanging in our safari's offering, er ,gifts.
anyway went into the museum and i just had to shed a tear. anyway a local comforted my by saying "oh dont worry i just saw a cute one outside, so
there not all like this"
:cry really made me feel a whole lot better, not.
i inhereted an early front bumper form greg in taree who plans to cut the rest of the bus down the middle so as to have a side profile above his shop
entry. he hasnt done it yet but i will keep you posted, if i cant make him change his mind.
