Well I thought of Skoda first in the Czech republic but Now I'm thinking maybe Spain and the illfated SEAT which didn't sell too well in
Australia..... Well I've only seen two SEATs.... Well VW have Skodas in the World Rally Championship... so I'm back to the Czech
republic.....
I used to LIke the SKODAs with the engine in the rear... I think SKODA bought the rights to the Renault R10 when it was replaced in 1970-71. and when
its replacement the front drive R12 -Virage- was discontinued. they were then made in Rumania.... and then there were the Polish Fiats 124 &
125s.... The East German Secret Police used to like them.... I wonder how I know that if it was a secret!!!
I am knowledgeable after all....:rudolf
Ghia.

It is the Czech Rebublic, at the Skoda factory... not just because it is the cheapest place to do it. But because they have an engineering excellence
and tradition that predates Germany and VW. Hence the fact so many UK based industrial firms are leaving the UK and moving there
jenz58: LOL... no it's Ghia as in the car
wow you learn something new every day! I thought the Czech Republicwould be far behind the times! I just put them in the same boat as Russia!
Rob.
LOL back. Got the Ghia as in car, but your where abouts in the world was, here, there and everywhere.
*Jen showing her age again. She used to love reading 'The Scarlet Pimpernel'. He was a master of disguise and rescued people from Madam
Guillotine during the French Revolution. 'They sort him here, they sort him there, they sort that rascal everywhere!'*
