Volkswagen VW Split Screen Kombi Fuel Gauge Tankanziege

Dosent look like it has the curved bezel like a later gauge.

Perhaps its just a standard VDO 56 model gauge that you could buy off the shelf .... or might even be out of a Porsche or Merc...

I think split busses didnt get them till mid 60s so might be out of another make.
