watching fox the other day and it said a new herbie movie is in the making and mat damon is main character.
reckon they will use the new beetle or keep the original herbie?
shouldnt herbie be the main charecter?

I hope it's better then the last Herbie movie. Anyway, they can't really use an NB as Herbie, maybe his younger cousin.
That movie made in 1997 was Border Line OK. A lot of people bagged it, but you have to remember it is a Kid's show.
I watched it with a self confessed Herbie INFOMOLOGIST and he bagged the Story line and how they changed the History of Herbie. So I told him it's a
kids show and they wouldn't know any better, but he still kept ARGUING with me. :cussing he was very enraged hahaha
hhehee I like watching the Herbie movies... yeah the story line does get a bit dodgy... but most little kids haven't seen the original herbie so wouldn't even notive... will be interesting to see whether they use the old herbie or a new beetle...
It will be a Old Beetle for Sure.
Besides Herbie isn't going to be very good if the Windows and Door locks are jammed, and the Actors catch a Cold because the Seat warmers aren't

hopefully it is the old beetle with a scat engine so they dont have to use computer edits to make him do a wheelie. wish they had of said when it would be released.
I have started chatting on http://www.newbeetle.org. A member on there claims to be actually working on the movie as we speak (or type). He says that the original styling Herbie will be used, but with a twist. The movie will be set now and will also feature the new beetle ....... best of both worlds if you ask me ...... herbie and his young brother !
Yeah that's what I heard, if you look in the back of the photo I posted you can see several yellow new Beetles.
