Another nice month for the not often bought VW Trends..

Nice write up of German Folks Klub in SoCal.. Love the Coral Red beast..
I was happy with the accessory collection thing there too.. Very nice.. I was pleasantly surprised to find I had a fair few of em.. I have 10 of em, and thats after I have sold my Beetle.. wierd.
Some nice feature cars, including Paul Knights sweet rod, and a couple of the GFK rides.
A sweet thing.

Very good issue, the GFK cars rock.
I just wish they would stop repeating articles from
Volksworld and vice versa, it really ...... me!
Especially when they contradict each other!
Anyway........... cool cars.:cool

and i rarely get the magazines, noone round here stocks them and so when i go to the closest big shops i buy them, guess its this one and the rods one i have to buy now

VW trends is the magazine of choice....followed by ultra vw when I can get it.

I get Volksworld, VWTrends and Ultra ( and the Aussie mag of course!)
I live for the next fix of worldwide VWdom..............:duh

The paper quality is ordinary and the ads kill me in trends... but august issue is good

Well i can honestly say i had my speedster chrome covers way before i saw that issue! Look SICK! Good read on the bug going from a IDA'd motor to a turbo !

Story sharing has been going on in other motoring mags for quite some time now, it's because all the journalists are now freelance and not contracted to the individual mag's!
I think it's poor form and should be stopped. But I spose if that happened then most of the publications would go down, it's a catch 22 situation.
VW trends is not worth the money, way to much advertising, and poached storys. Hot VW's is even worse! Ultra, Volksworld and AVD get my money, I read the others secondhand.

thanks for all the kind words about the club guys. that only showed the guys from californina. because the rest of us ( Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma) couldnt make it. Trends isnt my mag of choice either. but hell, a feature is afeature. lets not get picky.

For sure man.. It was a good thing.. Only a matter of time before there is an Australian chapter.. ;)

For interests sake, I get UltraVW, HotVW's, VolksWorld, and the AVWM. I get VW Trends if it's contents appeal, and I am feeling wealthy.

I get all of them all the time. Just got October Trends and no11 Ultra. At least I got something to read on the plane to Koh Samui.
