Thanks, If you know?
Something reeaally old?!
Probally a Motor cycle or Tractor or Farm implement
It's the same shape of the headlights of the pre-war Opel Kapitan.
A Hella dealer? :P
Its NOT from a Motor cycle or Tractor. but an early model Chevrolet or Dodge ,Buick etc from 1939 to around 1949 approx. I remember a fellow showing
Me [around 1964] his 1949 Buick He had bought back after a trip to the USA. [in 1949] It was a large black car with this type of Headlamps and a
straight eight engine. To start it, I think You had to press the accellerator to the floor.... A stupid thing I thought... but then with a straight
eight I suppose You would Never push the pedal to the metal..... and Maybe it needed a good squirt of fuel to start it...
It would flood Most 1960-70-80 cars ,I don't know would happen with fuel injectored computer ignition cars......
I JUST REMEMBERED that ALL US Vehicles had sealed beam headlamps and they were NOT Hella... Maybe a European type chev etc....
Incidently, Dave , Motor Cycles and tractors headlamps didn't have the pointy bit at the end.... they were closer to putting a headlamp into a
saucepan....:o

Whats the diamensions of the light
another shot.. note the glass is not clear, it is a rippled glass that shines white, like a parker light? I might use it as a rear reverse light...looks cool!
It would look real nice all chromed up! :thumb
looks like a 1930's microphone
but i agree it looks pretty nice
Could be a clearance or park light off a plane, motorbike sidecar, I'm just guessing!
