Now thats seriously cool :thumb
But do you spend your money on the model or the real thing??
Decisions........... decisions...........
Whatever happened to the manx model that the Car vet was doing?
I love the colour - It an exact copy of Neils who was at the last Klub meeting on Stockton. For $69 I'd buy it for sure.
"The Meyers Manx Dune Buggy
• The definitive 1:24 scale die-cast replica based directly on the original designed by Bruce Meyers.
• With a body of real fiberglass just like the original.
• Features metal roll bar, whip CB antenna, surfboard, removable hard top and operable steering.
• Authorized and authenticated by Bruce Meyers.
One of the most famous automobiles of all time, the original Meyers Manx Dune Buggy comes to life for the first time in a fully authorized precision
model with a body made of real fiberglass! Celebrate the birth of the off-road revolution with the symbol of freedom and fun. The Dune Buggy is your
ticket to adventure — from Baja to the beach, this little wonder is packed full of raw pleasure. Catch a wave and wander back to the ’60s when
Bruce Meyers’ dream of building a better buggy sparked the idea to create what became one of the most celebrated and influential automobiles ever.
The Dune Buggy is the ultimate symbol of California dreamin’ — from the metal roll bar to the snazzy surfboard and the removable top — it’s
power-packed and ready for fun!"
Regardless I'd still like to own the real thing. There is no doubt the Buggies rule - But Baja are a blood close second and for the sake of
windows that wind up, I don't need to win.
and for only $90 you will get 150 individual components that make up this.
This ones 90 bucks compared to 60 somthin for the Manx.
Would you beleive that they won't send it out here!! I sent them and email to ask if they would ship out here and they said the only way that we
would be able to do that was to know someone over seas to get them to oder it and they could ship it over here!! That sucks!!!!!
But i can still get one through relo's in england!!!
Anybody interested in this..... for Approx $170 Aus, landed in Brisbane.....
