Wouldn't touch the stuff myself ..... MUCH!
Lucky I'm a port drinker. Any port in the storm they say!

drink it every friday and saturday nights, i will.
little bit every other night, i drink.
MMM beer. I drink just about any of them. Mostly either New, VB, or Extra Dry. At the risk of being thrown out of here, I dont see what the fuss is
about Crowns. Tis just beer. I think it kinda tastes like a light beer.
I bought a case of Duff Beer and drank all but 1 can only to see on ebay that a case was up to $12,000 US. And I didnt even like it much. Still have
the one can.
Hey is this wierd or what. New Years Eve at work I had 3 lights in quick succession before driving home. Got pulled over and the machine read zero.
Surely I should have had some reading like .01 or .02. something!
I dun dring the schtuff ferry offen, but I like Coopers! Only trouble
is, it gets me rolling drunk!
Unfortunately, I'm stuck with an esky full of VB at the mon mo, kom... for the time being, but it does the job! :thumb:thumb
I'm a beer drinker.
Skewy, your right about those Little Creatures, that's one of my favs. My favourite would be Grand Ridge Gippsland Gold.
Amazer, I did exactly the same thing with Duff when it came out, except I drank it all.
:beer:thumb
ahh. well I have a little bit of a beer collection. I always keep 1 can/bottle.
One day the shelf supports broke nad it all came crashing down. Only 1 glass and 1 can of guiness broke. But it sprayed the entire room. Amazing how
far 1 can of guiness can go really. took ages to clean up.
mostly brew coopers lager
drinking a kb now
aaar beer
brew corner in shed
I have to say I'm partial to Bud... Very partial in fact, just wish they didn't hook us so much for it over here. It's half the price
of XXXX in Canada.
Then there's good ol' Guiness stout. Black gold indeed I reckon.
But then, any beer's OK if it comes free...
Why is Duff so expensive, the shoot tastes like puss.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmm,
Beeerrrrr..............:beer:beer:beer:beer:beer
(Almost any type, 'cept VB, XXXX or any other bitter.... scary for a QLD'er to admit I won't drink XXXX)
carlsberg S NOT A BAD DROP GOt stuck into it when in thai landeven had a few at the vw shop, what a laugh..:beer
can't say i like crownies either
i heard whispers that it was just the froth scooped off the top of the VB mix. Hence all the HEAVY sh*t isnt in it and it tastes a little better. but
i reckon its just as bad but twice as much !
whatever rocks your boat !
GO COOOERS SPARKLING !
GO THE PIES !!!
:bounce

Beer Drinkers Carry The Can Again
By Lillian Saleh
It's enough to make a grown man cry into his beer - the price of the amber fluid will rise nexr month yet again.
Cartons of beer are set to increase by $1 while Crown Larger drinkers will be slugged an extra $1.50 a carton.
Bottles of beer will rise on average by 10c.
The increase will see the price of a VB jump to more than $30 a carton.
Brewing companies yesterday said the increases were due to the consumer pirce index and beer excise and it was up to the individual bottle shop as to
whether they passed on that increase.
News of the hike left a bitter taste in the mouth of beer drinkers yesterday. David Anderson and Brett Medlen walked into the Royal Oak Hotel in
Parramatta for a lunch beer break. The builders said they were angered but not surprised by the price increase. "It always the smokers and
drinkers who cop it. It's always the working class," Mr Anderson said.
Mr. Anderson who buys at least one carton of beer a week, said the price increase couldn't be justified.
"You get big executives getting paid millions a year and here they are slugging the little man a lousy dollar," the 49 year old said.
Mr. Medlin said drinkers had no choice but to pay. "It's one of lifes little pleasures and it used to be cheap but not now," he
said.
Independantly owned liquor shops yesterday said they expected to feel consumer backlash. "We are struggling as it is and this increase
dosen't help," one shop owner said. "Buyers are going to be angery when they find out the price has gone up."

you'd think they'd tax wine and spirits out of the working man's reach first. :puke
56Astro: this is the best topic ever posted. Also, that is the funniest thing I have ever read!
Rustybug: that is the coolest picture i have ever seen! We can only dream I suppose -but with genetic engineering.....
Amazer: that DUff story is the saddest thing ever. And to think it didn't even taste that good.
Bananaman: I had a Fosters for the first time the other night; and I thought it was a fine drop of beer.
Helbus: I think your line needs modifying thus: "Save our precious water" drink beer! and you could also drive an aircooled
vehicle....or..... beercooled....mmmm.
So, there are my thoughts on other people's posts. Now, my favourite beer is a certain vintage homebrew (or at least old). My Pop was a
mad-keen brewer but unfortunately passed away before he could pass on his knowledge. The good news was that I found a few cases of king-browns that
were missed.
Ten years old and still fantastic!
Has anyone here in melb been to the Mountain Goat Brewery open nights?
On the second friday of every month they open up the Brewery and throw a party. It's a pretty good night, I went ages ago and got to sample their
new stout.:beer
PAT: where is this mountain goat party
i like there beer, its easy to drink over a loooong nite
Slow 'n Low: I agree, VB= Very Bad or as the irish call it - "Green Death". Has too many chemicals, all big name beers do !:puke
:bounce
im not much into lights either but that new stuff.. sterling.. is OK.
It's in Richmond, but it's closer to Burnley station (trust me, you don't wanna drive there)
Go to http://www.goatbeer.com.au/army/index.html
for more info.
beers good after a hard lecture at uni. but it has to be xxxx!!!!! but for some serios drinking i can't beat bundy and coke. ports good for a quiet nite. worst beer out there VB :repuke
nobody likes VB here??? hmmm. What is wrong wif me. *burp*
I'm a bit partial to Sterling myself. I'm not much of a beer drinker but I love it if I have company or going to a BBQ. There used to ba a cartoon gracing many a wall in Queensland pubs of a camel drinking XXXX and a bucket labeled VB underneath collecting the camel excess. Never have tried it - and after reading the consensus, I guess I never will.
