Just bought Keith Seumes latest book, Millennium Bug and found out that my name (along with probably 1000 others) is on display at the museum in
Hamburg.
I was at the LA motor show in '98 when the New Beetle was on display, and if you won a rather simle competition, you could sign the car. And
there is my name at one o'clock on the front left guard :bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce
finally, I am on display (and not as a warning to others)
Penguin (Think I'll go get some beer to celebrate :beer :beer :beer, mmm, then maybe plan a trip to Bungendore)

How cool is that. I guess thats one way to be remembered forever.
So how was Keiths book?
So far pretty good. haven't finished it, but hte history part is quiet interesting. As opposed to some of his other books on modifications, this one seems very focussed on the beetle as an icon rather than what you can do to one.
hey

rhys
He has indeed, and there are plenty of others by other authors too.
This is my favourite on-line bookshop. A bit like Amazon but it's a REAL shop rather than just an internet entity:
http://www.bn.com/
Do a search on VW Bus and you'll bring up 10 titles. Have your credit card details handy and away you go. I've bought from Barnes and Noble
many times and they are great. You'll have your books arrive by mail in about 3 weeks or less.
