Anyone know what happened to this Kombi?

The pic was taken a few years ago down at Valla.
Only other time I've seen it was at the Monaro Cruise in Qld, but that was a few years ago also.
Anyone?

Heard some chinese whispers that is was possibly up for sale as the owner had gone OS but never seen it advertised anywhere. :jesus If you want to know I'll ask a contact at the northside rodders club
