Hi All Vdubbers,
As some of you know, I'm a 19year old male, 1st year Eng/Sci student at Swinburne Uni, Hawthorn campus. I am looking to share house/apartment with
other students(male/female).
I am non-smoker,tidy,clean, have no problems with pets, easygoing and housetrained
Not adverse to cooking/cleaning either.
Late Jan - October.. Basically for the Uni year.
So yeh,
That's me.

Another sucker doing Sci/Eng. What eng discipline are you thinking of majoring in?
Have you contacted the Uni? Most big Unis have accomodation centers where students can link up and find places to live.
Swinburne is pretty good on those things. I think the best in Melbourne in terms of catering for non scholastic needs and student services. I'll have a talk to some friends and see what's out there.
If you go to campus there is always many ads for accomodation there. The are on campus lfats and stuff but they fill up pretty quick. The Swinburne website has details on their provided accomadation if you want it. http://www.swin.edu.au, but I'm sure that you already know it
To purple T3: i'm doing a bachelor of science(photonics), and a bachelor of engineering(telecommunication and internet technologies)
when i go up there i'll have a look for some ads and stuff..yeh i looked on the swinburne site and posted a few ads other places.
i'm keeping options open...

OK, glad I asked, never heard of either of those disciplines before. I was expecting soemthing like mech or elec. Is there really and engineering degree in internet technology? Gees I must be getting old. Good luck with the course, sounds like you'll need it:thumb
hehe yeh there is a degree in internet technology...
from the Swin site...
Description
This double degree maximises a student's career choices through a combination of photonics (light, lasers, optics, optoelectronics) and
telecommunications (local and global digital networking, mobile and fibre optics communications). Photonics involves the control, transfer and storage
of information using light, and it will play a major role in current and future generations of telecommunications and information systems.
