Spook - January 30th, 2003 at 04:31 PM

Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, George Thorogood, the list goes on.

Anything that doesn't need "da bass" to shake your ribcage.....

Pat - January 30th, 2003 at 04:41 PM

Mostly German techno, or at least I did when I had a 12volt car, and a CD player. Apart from that my fav radio station is RRR.

baybuscamperkid - January 30th, 2003 at 05:02 PM

generally I'd go with one of my Reel Big Fish albums, or Metallica, Living End, Greenday, something like that. but for REAL cruisin, id go the song 'lowrider' from the 'gone in 60 seconds' movie

Grey 57 - January 30th, 2003 at 05:37 PM

Jamiroqie (sp) Hunters & Collectors, Chilli Peppers.
Dont mind a bit of Van Morrison and Dixie Chicks too tho.

Doesn't really matter whats on the stereo really, any speed over 50mph and all you hear is the sounds of vw. Tap Tap Roar Whine

:beer

Jamox - January 30th, 2003 at 08:28 PM

That is the song that gets turned up in the baja because it seems so fitting; Baja Peninsula min California and all.

California...here we come.

sooty - January 30th, 2003 at 08:43 PM

wheb I'm out and about I usually have four small children in the back of the kombi.

I imagine that we must be quite a strange sight ....music cranked up...car bouncing from the kids boogie'n away in the back, singing at the top of their lungs..usually ;'who let the dogs out...lady marmalade... and other kid friendly stuff, (although I do draw the line at the wiggles) :D
have recieved some very strange looks and much finger pointing.
:bounce:bounce

kids love it though

fatboy - January 30th, 2003 at 09:39 PM

Jamiroqui and of course Hi 5 for my daughter:sandrine
and Charlie is definatley yum. (yes its a girl):kiss

HotRodMatt - January 31st, 2003 at 12:12 PM

The Rev!

The Reverend Horton heat has to be the best kruzin music ever!

My wife hates me chaning the lyrics to five-0 ford, from "My f*cked up ford" to "My old flat four"!

For somethign different, a bit of Einsturzende Neubauten. Thats for those ignorance is bliss times... if the bottom end starts knockin' the grinders hammers falling spanners of their stuff will drain it out.

jenz58 - January 31st, 2003 at 05:41 PM

Radioless in Bel and forget to turn it on in Dr L, or am too scared I'll forget to turn it off and he will be flat when I go to drive off next

Tend to sing anything that comes in my head, which can be very scary stuff:o:D

Often is the last song I heard subliminally

OvalGlen - February 2nd, 2003 at 03:05 PM

No radio in tha Oval..
Just love the sound of the Straight cuts & exhaust note.
Still can get carried away with it though.
Last Sat night got pulled over for speeding
after only a 1st / 2nd blurt and then slowed down.
The Nice Constable wasnt impressed that
I managed to get up to 70 in 50 zone with two quick gears.

mattie182 - February 2nd, 2003 at 08:20 PM

skitzmix, or anything with a great beat

Crashman - February 2nd, 2003 at 09:09 PM

I like to listen to some aussie hip hop while cruzin in my little Golf.
The phat bass lines sound mad wid 2 12" subs in the back

bus914 - February 4th, 2003 at 10:32 AM

For ultimate cruising: Induction Suck, The Tappets and The Rpms. On hot summer days with all the windows open and arm out the side, I listen for the dreaded Ping Of Death. I know I have that detachable face somewhere.

Unity-28 - February 4th, 2003 at 11:01 AM

Hey Jenz, Do you get all these people looking at you as if your a weirdo, when you sing without music in the background! I DO!!!!! Its so funny, cause it can get a little boring in traffic, so I just sing anything, and thats when the funny looks come my way!!! Its sooo funny!!!

squizy - February 9th, 2003 at 12:13 AM

Hi-5, the Wiggles and Barbies Pool Party mix. Luckily I'm educating my daughter of the benefits of JJJ and the excess of the 80's.

OvalGlen - February 9th, 2003 at 12:09 PM
