I've just gotten a hold of a 36'er with getrag unit were the gear box bolts up its got 2 pully wheels that can be used to run lots of things compressors, generators this one was used to power a fairly good size saw (4ft circular blade).I'm guessing it wouldn't be any later than say '65 because of the 180\200mm flywheel deal.any bodyever seen one. It's made in GERMANY

Are you interested in selling it? It sounds like an industrial motor to me. :)

I dont think so it's got a dual outlet exhust round style the industrial ones i've seen have an elongated muffler with a single outlet , i think the carb has an accelerator pump and it doesnt have a magneto. So I'm sure the motor is out of one of the cars that he had lying around,It's the getrag unit I'm trying to find info on.The motors going in my 58 that will be for sale,I might bring it to the pub next weekend.
