Try Tru Fit carpets (can't remember off the top of my head where they are - will be in Melb yellow pages). I got some pre cut ones for my bug.

What year is your bug and what color do you want ? I have a BRAND new grey set of carpets for a 65 bug (was restoring my 65 bug, now not). These have never been used and will include underlay if you are interested ????

I guess I'll pass em on to you. I had a thought and I guess Black suits more.

I found that place, but they're not opened... so I guess I'll wait for Monday.

Quoted for carpets .. $125 not include installation. Another $150 to install.

So can anyone tell me what I need, in order to fit the carpets myself ?

Cheers~!

Spray adhesive and a clean surface.

Do I need a special soft layer under the carpet? or just stock it on with glue?

Cheers!

I think that you need some underlay ?????? where you are getting the carpets from should be able to tell you what to buy
