Dasdubber - February 5th, 2003 at 08:21 AM

To the best of my knowledge it is "ba-ha" just like the way Baja peninsula (in Mexico) is pronounced.

Pat - February 5th, 2003 at 08:26 AM

The name originates from the modified bugs that race in the Baja desert races.

Buggy Boyz - February 5th, 2003 at 09:29 AM

I would have to go Ba-ha like a joke :D

Tazzielittle - February 5th, 2003 at 09:48 AM

BA HA the J is pronunced like a H as in that Mexican or Spanish guys name HOSE A and his twin brother Hose B

amazer - February 5th, 2003 at 03:19 PM

I didnt know they were twins!

vw54 - February 5th, 2003 at 03:43 PM

Of course they were twins

thats why DAD called them A n B

KruizinKombi - February 5th, 2003 at 06:23 PM

BarJar or BarHar, depends on my mood. Everyone knows what we mean, so what difference does it make? Just because they say 'Baha' in Mehico doesn't mean we have to here. There are plenty of other foreign words in our language that we pronounce our own way. :)

I hope I haven't offended any 'Baja' owners! ;)

vw54 - February 5th, 2003 at 06:27 PM

i heard a guy call them a BAD JAR bug as in the animal.

Baja Wes - February 5th, 2003 at 07:46 PM

Baja is pronouced Ba-Ha, as with the Baja Penninsula in Mexico as others have said.

A Badger is a small furry animal. I have seen Badger in the trading post as they must have phoned in the ad and that's how the trading post worker heard it.
