Anyone else affected by the storms last night?
Queen_Bug - March 4th, 2005 at 08:27 AM

Who else in Campbelltown was affected by the storm last night? The tree behing my house was hit by lightening and exploded. It put holes in the roof of my house and my neighbour's house and fried my computer at home, and in loosing my computer I lost all of my notes for uni.:cry

All I can say is thank God that my car was at Volkshaven having new seats installed, it might have suferred some damage.

That's a bummer about your computer. We had lots of noise, a little rain, but nothing major. A big crack of lightning above the house woke everyone about 1.00 am....that was it.

Squiz....

How come You don't back Up Your Notes on CD or Floppy Discs??
That is the normal thing to do when You don't want to lose any info.....

A Computer Technician may be able to save Your Work from the Hard drive... unless its Burnt out....

My Son has gotten Most of My stuff off the Hard Drive after it failed on many occasions... even a Lightning strike....
the only thing that seems to disappear each time is My Address Book...

Best of Luck.... and do a back up.....
Computer Hard Drives are known to crash....
