Well I've had it happen again. I replied to a wanted ad for a rotary conversion posted on this forum . Made a deal by email for $50 and said I'd drop it off next time I went to Sydney . Well I dropped it off at his address on the central coast and nobody was home .Got an email that night with a big thankyou and how do I want to be paid . I replied by saying a cheque in the mail is fine and gave my address . That was the 14th of december and I'm still waiting . I've sent some emails with no reply . I'm a little pissed off now . Looks like I have to drive down and sort this out . Why do people have to behave like this ?
When you do find out what's going on, let us know so nobody else gets sucked in the same way.
I'm happy to day that to date all my dealings with people from the forum have been very good.

Yes they do,you sometimes have to be ruthless especially about money,you make an agreement with someone there not there or busy running late,you walk
or you gamble.But i dont do this im to nice a guy.

I sold my Kadrons on eBay to "Smart Bugger". That was more than a month ago. Heaps of emails since then but he/she hasn't showed up.
Waste of time and money (cost me $20 in auction fees). Don't bother selling anything to this guy

I know who smart bugger is. He is a good bloke. He only has access to his email at work and he must have been on Hols for a while. I can contact
him and ask him whats the situation if you like. I say something has gone wrong down the line somewhere.
Brad , his forum name is Volkswagenist . I just put a reply in the ad on the buy/sell page . I have sent him a few emails but no reply yet . Looks like I might have to visit him . It gives me the shits really because I offered to drop it in to him to save him petrol money and time to drive up here , its a 300 km round trip and then he doesn't send me the money . Guess thats what I get for being a nice fella.
