Comprehensive Insurance for Manx Buggies
Buggy Boyz - February 14th, 2003 at 01:52 PM

I am in teh final stages or sorting out Full comprehensive Insurance for Manx Club Members. It seems like it will be an ok price but most importantly it will mean you can get you buggy covered without hassles.
My Manx Cost me $231 a year for $10 000 cover and I get to keep the wreck if it is written off. They are lso aware of all my mods.
Anyway just woundering if there is much interest from buggy guys in this ? as I know it has been a pain in the ass in the past with most companies saying NO..

:) I'll be in for all that if it all works out ( when I finally get round to re-registering my manx and join the club) most companies I aproached about insurance either gave me the thumbs down or forward me to other insurures.

Brad

just interested about the details.
Shannons will only insure you if you have a locked garage. Would that be the same with you guys?

yes yes yes, you can incluede me!!!

Baja Wes - February 14th, 2003 at 06:18 PM

Any chance it can be extended to cover Baja's? I pay about 3 times that for the same cover.

I will ask about baja Bugs.
I don't know about garages but you do nedd to hve a 2 pt immobilizer.
I will keep you all posted. I am awaiting the written info as all above is only verbal.
You do of course need to get an inspection or photos sent.
