A lesson to be learnt by all here.
1. Kombis are very long
2. Kombis with bullbars are very very long
3. Kombis with bullbars with spare wheels on the front are very very very long
4. Kombis with bullbars with spare wheels on the front and a towbar on the back are simply tooooo long.
5. LaserWashs' ( Brushless robotic arm type things ) are not very robust.
There are two potential morals to this story but I'm not sure which is more relevent.
1. Dont take a knombi with the above gear into a LaserWash
2. Dont mess with Kombis coz theyre TUFF!
The two surprises of the day (and it seems to be a day for lists)
1. Kombis dont get damaged very easily - in fact not at all
2. When you break someones LaserWash - THEY apologise to YOU and then proceed to hand wash your Kombi to make up for the inconvenience.:thumb
Final Score Wombat by a Knockout
Perhaps the moral should be take your kombi to the lazerwash as you will get a free handwash

I have pondered the "kombi through the automatic car wash' issue many times, but have never proceded due to concern of damage to the
bus.....giggle giggle
love your work!!!!
Well done Steve!! So you'll be doing it again next month then?
Did they tell you to come back when they got it fixed?????

Can we all watch next time plllllllease:bounce
Tell us when and we will be there
I hate it when people say a kombi is long. They arent. same wheelbase as a beetle. Just a little more front overhang. Ive driven kombis through car washes and have had no problems. No bullbar though. Any pics of the dead car wash?
