Toowomba next weekend

So, seeing as how it's just over a week away, just thought I would re-post the question

there are two kombi's heading out from the gap...anyone else want to join us on our way out to blacksoil? :)

Yes Sooty, I'll still meet up with you. I'm coming from Boondall way, so you name the spot. Somewhere near the start of the Centenary HWY maybe???
I think blacksoil is ~3/4hr away, so we'd need to leve there by 7:15??? meet at 7am?
Maybe Tassielittle can confirm if that's enough time??
Is anyone else coming from my side of town and want's to tag along, Bigbore, 62kombiute????

do you know where the bus depot is near the toowong roundabout at the end of the western freeway/centenary highway
Apparently there is a carparking area just near there let me know what you think.

yes I'm bringing the whole zoo...so here's fair warning, I tend to breed the rough and wild variety....and they really love kombi's...(I'll do my best to keep them from dissapearing into your vans)

Is the ground there road base or dirt and grass, I'm a bit concerned how hot it will be for them.

Great to hear from you angela..I thought you had dropped out of existance!

I'm leaving notes about Toowomba on every parked kombi that I see!!!!!:D

If the show is in the same place as last year it is situated in a lovely park with lots of grass and trees for shade. Most cars park on the road with some on the grass as well. It is a great day.

The Fest is being held at Picnic Point...
Not the same place as last year..
But i am told that it is a big park so i'm thinking there would be shade and stuff...

If you are interested, the Volkswagen Drivers Club of QLD (VWDCQINC) are meeting at the BP service station at Blacksoil on the Warrego Hwy at 8:30am - then on to Toowoomba.
