Celebrate the KG's 50th, Australia

In 1955 the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia was presented to the public. Members of the media and business were invited to the Kasino in Georgsmarienhütte, which is close to the Karmann factory in Osnabrück.

Here are a couple of Australian celebrations to attend - all VW enthusiasts welcome:

Photo shoot at New Farm Park - 1 hr cruise to Bribie Island - BYO picnic or BBQ, Shops and Pub nearby.

So by 17 July all of the rain will be gone in SE Qld and we will be up for an awesome cruise!!

We want to hear from some more KG owners. We are aiming at 20+, otherwise those Victorians might beat us!!

How about other VW cousins? Nothing like a mid winter cruise to blow off the winter blues!

At the last Karmann Kruise in Sydney in 1997 we got 13 Ghias, which looked fantastic on the road together! The KG folks in Victoria have done a few runs, not sure what their numbers got to.
It would be great to get to 20+. I know there are many Ghia owners who are not regular VW event participants - getting the message to them is the real challenge.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Show us yer Ghia!!

How about an online 50th KG celebration.
Show us some pics of your Ghias.
