I know this is a little off topic but I jsut bought a SEAT. Seeing as they are owned by VW i thought that this might be close enough. Hell, even the
engine has VW badging. The interior lights, indicators, buttons and switches are all straight out of my 97 Golf. Exact copies. Good to know that this
car might be half decent.

[size=4]As long as You don't ever want to sell it.... they are VERY RARE... I see one about every 6 months... I don't believe they are
sold in Aust anymore.... they are just a copy of the GOLF - just made in Spain with cheaper labour - and then the VW importers tried to sell them as
(spanish) GOLFs with German Prices.. if they had been Priced Correctly - IMHO - they would have sold well... Similar to the NEW Beetle - if it was
priced UNDER the Golf - they would have sold thousands more.... a Mexican Golf with a New Beetle body.. AND GERMAN Prices... STUPID... IMHO of

A friend tried to trade a 97 model but was offered $6000 as the reason was that it would have to go to the mainland to get a buyer. He put a sticker on the window for $9700 in a remote country town and sold it to a girl in 2 days. volma1

The Seat Cupra Sports (think thats how its spelled) with a 2ltr is a real beasty.
Can't remember the actual spec, but the power to wieght is real good for a FWD.
In the same league as the Proton Satria GTi. Cheap pocket rockets.
