One week to go guy's. Count down has started (well for my wife aka 'She Bug' it started 12 months ago) This time next week we will be making our way to the airport and off to pure VW bliss. VW factory tour, VW museum, Dresdens 'VW Glass Factory', Audi tour, BMW tour and Porche tour. 2 weeks of all that is VW and then some. We will be making progress reports from Germany with photos, short video clips and general chit chat about the trip while we are on the road. 23 members of the VWCV will converge on Germany and plan to whoop it up big time! Im already in training for the Oktober Fest cause in our table reservation we all have 2 litres of beer and a Chicken each! Good thing my wife doesn't drink beer...he he, but I'll give it a good home Just trying to figure out how to strap Safari windows to her body to go through customs!!!!

Yes we will be going to Dacau, I love all that history goodand Bad We are trying to meet up with some German VW club members while we are there but it seems hard to find any on the web, I'll keep trying.

When I was there in july/August I went to a show and I met a guy called Manfred Braun. He is involved with a club called Kaferteam Nurnberg. He was very helpfull,and a nice guy. He even took me in his car on the cruise they had.

You'l at least need your chassis number, but the more numbers you have the better I spose, eg. engine body.
I had the body and chassis numbers for my oval and that was enough..... enough that is , for them to tell me that they can't access those files.

Jones will be able to find you some vee Dub club members. he may even find some that speak English. jones is the bloke who organised our Syncro. What he doesnt know about VW hasent happened yet. If you need Matts phone number Bugboy will give it to you.
You will have a good time at the VW factory in Wolfershausen. They have a delivery system for people picking up cars based on the Coke dispensing machine !!!

I didn't get the chance to go up north of Germany.

I went to Munich and Heidleberg. I got back on the 15th. Stealth if you get the chance go to the Hofpra Haus in Munchen it is where Hitler used to drink. It is an unreal place. I dont really remember leaving but god damn was it a good night. Those Germans know how to Party. The women are spectacular!!!:o
