what happened to total VW???????

They went BROKE.... tried to make too much money out of the one country where they have 3 or 4 VW magazines on sale

This conversation came up here the other day,
we were saying that local newsagencys wearn't stocking any VW mags lately.
I looked one day recently, 1 mag out of 4 newsagencys....pathetic!!!
This needs to change!!!

If you ask most newsagents to get a magazine in for you regularly on the premise that you will be in to buy it each month, most will be happy to do so. That way they hold it for you and you are guaranteed a copy each month. I do it for Volksworld and Hot VWs.

yer we do it for volksworld also and total VW up until we noticed we werent gettin it anymore!!!!

[size=4]I have it put away at a newsagent 30 kms away and call in every now & then... and they have been sending two monthly issues at a time... saving freight I suppose... Anyway I have been in a couple of times and they said no it wasn't there yet.... It looks like I'll have to go over to Volksworld... I am not interested in VW trends etc from the USA.... My Son used to buy all the USA VW mags for years but they are not My Cup of Tea [old Scone saying].... [/size] They must have paid too much money to Jim for the Article on His Beetle..... Anyway... I subscribed to vw trends and hot vws for a while. Im sure i missed a few issues. and whats the point when they come out in shops 6 weeks before they get to my mailbox. When you do get them they are mostly black and white, full of americanised versions of fact (ie crap), most pages are all ads anyway. Its just a waste of money.

The best 2 around at the moment are Hot VWs from America n Volksworld from GB....

Subscriptions are a pain as they usually manage to miss 2 or so editions during the year... then it costs you more to get them from the back issue Dept...
