After a few of u great avd members offered me ur appreciated wisdom about learning what is to learn about offroad vee dubs, i have finally placed my
order for the book.
Its coming from the US, being shipped in and gonna cost me only about 25 or $27. I ordered it in from the University of Queensland Bookshop, they
happily took the title, author and ISBN and scanned it in, found no copies in Aust, but in NZ and US, made a few international calls, and found one
for me at a great price. This was all done in about 15 MINS!!! Great service there, they can order in any book, and scan the whole bloody world for
it.
I didn't bother going through ebay, and tried the auto book store in Bowen hills (they said they haven't seen the book for years). I didn't want to
buy it over the internet cause i ain't got no credit card, and parents aren't willing to risk their pennies.
The copy im getting too is the latest. Not sure exact year, but the one in NZ was a 98' copy. So it should be well revised and somewhat close to up
to date, i hope.
Hopefully this should be the start of something great. The book will be coming in 4 to 6 weeks, but for that price and service, im happy to wait, i
put the deposit in. But that time, it will be near graduation, and i will be outta school, earning money, ready to start a project with my trusty
guide.
Thanx to all that headed me into this direction, cause i read the first few pages previewed in AMAZON on the net, and the author is very experienced,
knows what he is talking about, and the book is easy to read, understand and interpret. Cheers.:thumb

Great dunny material :thumb
Lol, thanx guys. Thought it was pretty cool getting it, especially for around the mid $20 range, including shipping/postage from over seas.
It should hopefully keep me out of trouble with u guys, lol.
Also get the idiots book, its a great read anyway but it will help you understand the basics better than any other single book.
Tell your parents it was in there contract to buy you your first car ;-P Then you just have to save up and make it into a beast.

Hey guys, just picked it up today after a couple of weeks. Was $25 in total for price today including the shipping from the US. Great book store the

Oh, and that book is bloody awesome. Got everything i need to know (for now hehe)
Thanx all for the recommendations and comments.
Does anyone know if custom offroad sell any other books or can get any other vee dub books besides Jeff Hibbards Baja Bugs and Buggies. Cause if they
can, then i will be tempted to order a few more . Probably should drop
them an email some time, but at the moment, I'm happy. :thumb
