1982 928 porsche

but what would you expect for a 1000 bucks
i'm stoked!!!
Sweet!
Andrew
Mark....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
Looks like you have a new project ahead of you :thumb
yes .....ANOTHER one!!
ummm....what would it cost to rebuild a Porsche V8??? :jesus
Any photos of this beuty, i do like 928's
well done
Andy
lucky bugger, they're supposed to be a great handling car.... can't wait for the pics :party
sure you could sell the phonedials of of it for almost as much as you paid?
Anthony
seized engine :duh
that's not happy, still I suppose you can put the forged pistons and twin turboes in during the rebuild.
A 928 rebuild would have to be $4000 - $8000 dep on what needs doing...... should call the porsche wreckers around the place, there were lots of these
928's built (relatively speaking) and many of the early ones are now going cheap - you might be able to pick up a runner engine without a second
mortgage....
Or, alternatively do what I would do and bang a 1UZFE lexus 4L in it........ that would be joy on wheels.....
928's handle like a dream, I had a ride in one that a friend of the family owned in my childhood and can vividly remember 4 wheel drifting around a
big roundabout at about 80 - 90kmh....... beautiful !
being in the porsche game got an engine lined up for next to nothing!
you guys should know me by now i never have any pics
i'll try get some though
Congrats Mark. Come on show us a pic.
Well done they are an awesome car
Did you buy it of a dude in Pt cook?
no,locally(melbourne)
a customers car
Man you'd have to be in the game to take on a $1000 928. Jeez the shed must be getting full. Need to offload plenty on Sunday to make some room hey Mark?
