Hi List,
Has anybody out there built an efi system? been looking long and hard at cb performance' web site, and reading lots about megasquirt efi...
I reckon it'd cost about $1400 to bolt on a system, but would like to hear from anybody that has done it!
r,

Anyone know the details of this one?
Where did you get that pic from Steve, looks pretty good
A friend of mine has used the megasquirt. First of all in his Alfarod (1928 Model A with an Alfa 2 litre) - the engine origianlly used two dual
webbers then he installed Suzuki GSXR throttle bodies with the megasquirt.
The megasquirt has also now been added to his 38 Chev.
Very easy to build and tune.
Dave, it is one of heaps that Wes took at the '04 VW Spectacular. If I remember correctly the car was parked up near the catholic church.
i have also been looking into this, im thinking that if you can get an ecu, buy the efi manifold end pieces and use something like a vl commodore throttle body cause its only 54mm which is the same size as a ca18 but that all depends on what size engine your running. then you just need to make yourself some connecting pipes or use the old ones. the reason i would go single throttle body is for easy tunning that and you can then turbo it with less fabrication of pipes and end up with a monster that is reliable and easy to tune. hope this helps.
The 911 Porsche guys use these a bit as a replacement for carbies.
have a look at this web site - http://www.msefi.com/
and this one ==> http://forums.pelicanparts.com/forumdisplay.php?s=edd5efea6d6ccf5dc3371cdf870...
go to the search box at the bottom and type in megasquirt.
Gee I saw the title of this thread and thought it was about an entirely different subject :beer:beer:beer:beer:beer
Half those megasqirt sites are not working
but from what I saw it looked very good.
