Gday guys what are your thoughts on cool door trims. It is the final thing I need to alter so I thought why not ask those who no any help would be
great if you have any pics etc post em up. Thanks Ben DIckens "Harryman":puke
The bug is a 1970 with grey velour seats rear trim and roof lining. Carpet is black superplush and bug is xr8 blue it can be seen under members rides
page 2 fireman bens bug. I originally made velour door trims grey and put some 6inch speakers in them very bad idea as they got damaged and no longer
work. So I now have door trims with 6inch holes in them. Therefor I am wondering what other people have done that is unique. Hope this helps you
out and I look forward to your idea's thanks for reading Ben Dickens.....

What sort of car, what is the rest of the interior like (vinyl/velour etc), colours? With any tasteful resto you want things to gel together so
nothing looks out of place so suggesting ideas for door trims will be somewhat dependent on the rest of the car.
Cool -thanks for adding the link! :kiss

cheap fix until u save heaps more for the doors to be done properly...
grab mesh fronts to ur speakers (which are now broken) and put them over hole....either by screw or hot glue gun. I think screws/small bolts with
flat square nuts ont he back to bring it in better is probably the go. That way you still got some reasonable door trims, doesnt look out of
place...and no holes.
Then u can wait until u find more money to get them done professionally.
I'd stay with the grey, but have a blue highlight run thru it. And no speakers.
BTW, here's the link to ur pics

I like the look of the grey velour - it matches well with the rest. If you want just a mild modfication, you could always keep the speaker but make
pods out of fibreglass and cover them with grey vinyl - sounds harder than it really is!

I am not sure but you may have to register to view the pics though. I'll attach one pic anyway.
