I drove in to Ipswich yesterday and the temperature gauge was showing 42. Today on the south east freeway near Mt. Gravatt at about 11am it was showing 37. So much for spring.

Hi winerot, sounds like a great set up with your air conditioning. I've got a 74 Kombi also. How is your air cond set up? Got any pictures to rub it in?

I' at work at an aluminium smelter in central Queensland - pouring metal at 700 degrees. Don't tell me it's hot!! Bloody summer. Although it is day shift and you expect to get hot. Nothing worse than being here at 3 in the night and sweating like a pig.

Hi Wally,
Damn - thats a nice van!
I just checked it out on Members Rides and read all about your engine mods etc. If I see ya on the highway id better let ya pass. I think if I put air cond in my 74 Kombi it would probably stall the engine (1600DP). I am just new in the fixing up old cars game but watch this space, I have plans for my vans too. Nice to see one with all the work done. Great job!
Karl.
