Went down for a smokeo this morning, and greeting me out the door of my work was a nice looking split screen combi, two tone, white on top pastel
yellow below.
Carrying QLD plates, had an imac in the back, VERY nice interior black vinyl with yellow trimming. (no i wasn't staring - i'm just very
observant...) Blue VVDS sticker on the back window.

stock 5 stud rims.. looked great!
Anyone wanna claim ownership?
remarks like this make me want to carry a digital camera around.

if anyone knows anything about it... Let us know, tis a sweet ride!
gee twoguns, if your lady isn't a vw head you have her well trained.
my last girlfriend got to the state that she could spot the differences between split, oval, early big window, later 6V, late 60's/70's
torsion bar and super beetles, aswell a little about kombi's plus she would tell me what she saw. but she would never have noticed things like
safari's.
jac can spot em as we have em. so they are sort of on ya mind. but yeah she can tell the diff between early and late splits as well as a bay or two. and also with the beetles as we made so many mods to it. i kept goin on how i like this look or want that age look and she is quite cluey and just picks up on it. soon i will have her knowing or the diffs between the buggies. only one down side though. cant get away too much any more about what things cost.DO'H.
