Depends which Flash they are going to make

I think theres about 4 or 5 different types

VDubya - October 21st, 2005 at 12:44 PM

It's a problem if they go "ozlook"?
Does that mean we can send all those Cal-look and German-look pieces of cloned rubbish to the crushers?

How is a reproduction any less real than an original?
Some people really need to get over themselves.
I bet the clips on your door trims aren't 1957 originals. Are they any less real?

That's the problem. Was special.......maybe now not so special.

It`s like the guys who own the original BRM`s...........................
Or the original Gasburners or the original Westy Roof Racks, Splitty Deluxe Trim, Tailpipe cheese grater etc etc etc.
Not a lot you can do about it if someone sees a business oportunity.

In protest I'm gonna tear mine off the bug and drive 'round with the 28 holes I dug in the sucker to fit the flash, blowing in the breeze. It'll be hooting like a flute.
I'll start the Aussie Drive-by look.

So where's the problem here??? At least they'll probably be cheaper made OS than made in OZ. I think it's great that someone OS sees a market for an old idea for VWs from OZ that was copied from '40s and '50s American and European cars.
What!!! you all thought that idea was born in OZ!!
Cheers.

I know im late but what company is planning on making it???Sucks for the poeple that have originals but what matters is that you know your shit is original.A set of original Flash Trim will always hold its value to the true Vee Dubber.

PrettyBlueBug - November 16th, 2005 at 03:29 PM

Will there actually be any way to tell the difference though between old and new? If someone sells it as 'new old stock', how would you know?
