They are AWESOME; Cosworth engine, developed in conjunction with Porsche... they're expensive.

But hey what's better than having a car that's as sporty as a Porsche, looks as good as an Audi, has beeeeautiful German enginnering, and you can throw the surfboard in the back... to bend the words of Scribe, 'how many cars roll like this, not many, if any' :D

Rock 'n roll man!!! I haven't seen many around Perth... There is one the frequents the claremont/cottesloe area and I tend to jizz my pants everytime :P

Good luck finding one too, as I remember there being a limited roll out...

Only the heads are cosworth . there was a production run of around 30 for Aus . And the US didnt get any :P . I just finished an s4 with virtually all rs4 running gear and a bit extra :starhit: . Made more power than Rod Penrose's bug at all 4 wheels :o.

Aren't they like $150,000 or something daft. Lovely car though!:thumb

0 to 100 in about 4.7 sec if i remember correctly. Lots of changes over a S4, different body panels, suspension brakes etc. The bottom end of the engine is different as well i believe. The original ones that came to australia bent rims because they were too light for australian roads. I nearly got a set of 4 slightly bent RS4 wheels from work! would have straightened out ok!

from motor magazine - $165k, 2.7litre v6 (no word on turbos, but i think it ran twin turbos), 0-100 in 5.3, 0-400m in 13.6

A chipped one runs 12.9's . Bottom end is the same . s4 had ko3's rs4 has ko4's . There is development work currently being carried out with gt28's . Brakes are same as r32 golf !

i love these things, they are an absolute sleeper, They sound horn too. Only subtle clues to the RS4. It seems like the a running theme with German cars, M3, 911 turbo etc.

But these are the best bang for ya buck second hand around $90k

want one for the family in the future, they destroy 911 turbo's
