I will be going along to Shannons Day of the VW next month, and was wondering who on here will be going and if they are taking their cars along? Sadly my little car isn't on the road yet, so will be attending without her!

yeah i will attend this year if i can get there. my ute has no brakes at the moment..and vw still a long way from completion.

Probably..... date depending. I havent missed one for about 5 years so far.

Although hopefully my carbies dont disintegrate on teh way there like they did last year

Date: Sunday 11th December.
Time: Gates open from 8:00am - Show from 9:00am to 3:00pm - Cars must be in by 11:00am to be judged for trophies.
Venue: This year it will be held at GO Edwards Park, Victoria Park. The venue has had to change for 2005, its just on the opposite side of Gt Eastern Highway.
Entry Fee: $5.00 per vehicle - free showbag for first 100 cars. :thumb

Any idea why its not at the burswood where it usually is ?

Not too sure, the only thing i can think is some other far more insignificant event is there instead! Grrrrr

I'll be there for sure! Was hoping to have the bug finished in time but reality tells me otherwise...so driving down in the falcon hardtop instead.

I have one other to take in to the show already but probably won't be taking the Moster Baja in this year...

I think the show has gone across the road due to other stuff being on at Burswood, (or maybe it was MarkMarks tyres got them kicked off) hehehe..
Either way, you will find the NEW venue a much nicer place to be...

We have just been in contact with Simon and have decided that we need to have a Johnny Farnham style ," one last time Revival gathering " to go to this years Day of the Volkswagen, on sunday 11th december.

So, if you are interested, We will be gathering at the Park Centre shopping centre carpark, in Vic Park, at around 8.45am and will be leaving to drive down to Burswood at 9.15am,

Will you guys be leaving from Fremantle to get there..??
I will be towing a double load to the show this year..
I have to pick up a car in Wanneroo at about 7.00am, then head down the coast to the Freo for car number 2 to go on the back, then over to the show from there, if anyone in the North wants to tag along for a little extra drive, that might be fun..
Should be getting to the show just before 9.00 provided I car get the Freo car loaded on time...
Not gunna leave me any time to get my Monster Baja in there though

anyone able to give a poor boy a lift?
