Hey all,
I have the numbers from the side of the box here:
113 301 103 - I presume this is the VW part number?
D C087 0005
If anyone can help my identify this box that would be great!
Cheers!

Thats the number of the actual gearbox alloy housing and means nothing.
Does it have IRS or swing axles.
'Can u post a few pics of it will make it easier
Looks like its a IRS box by the fittings:
It looks like a L bug box as it has the longer clutch lever by the looks of it
What do you need to no about it ???
I juts need to know what it is so I can sell it off cheap.
Im looking for a single side box for the Oval eventually.
Cheers 54!
Looks like a dual side plate box
does the plate where the drive flanges are bolt on both sides??
If so it is an earleir 1972ish IRS box
Has 4.38 ratio rather than the 3.88 L bug box
looks like mine, but i havent seen much else so dont know if mines original, its a 71 super, only difference is... MINE BLINGS! how much are you looking at getting rid of it for?
$40 take away.
I cant tell you anything about it though, came to me with a few other parts.
Cheers
Hi
If it has a reverse light switch its from a 72, if no switch its from a 71. If it dosent have the littel holes for the banana mounts., its from a type
3, they have removable alloy slugs filling the holes.

You are very sick Steve!!
