On behalf of the committee of the VW Club of WA I hereby thank everyone who brought their cars for display. The quality of the cars was up to its
usual standard. The row of splitty Kombis was awesome.
Thank you sneak-e for the photos posted here, as must a special thank you go to Daniel of All Car Towing Services (one of our sponsors) for bringing
the 1948 Beetle, from the Fremantle Motor Museum, again.
We booked in 114 cars which was a bit fewer than last year, but that doesn't matter. The sausage sizzle sold out, so we still got the normal sized
crowd. The weather held off for most of the day, but the unrelenting wind was a problem. I am sure that we all had a good time. We hope to see you
again next year.
Bump.
1946 Beetle:blush....
I'm very happy to be able to help out Richard..
(thanks to my sidekick too)
I agree that display of split's was a sight to behold and I reckon the splitty guys should organise a cruise for themselves one day, It would almost
be a news worthy event..
Well done splitty dudes...!!!!:thumb:thumb
(And thanks for the Trophy VW club)
Richard, what are you doing up at This time of the morning..???
