Slammed the squareback today and she looks real cool.wasnt happy with the original stance so slammed it real low.Now paint time buy some rims throw the accessories on and finaly cruising. My first project was the oval sold that.{never finished it.Next project was the custom square got it slammed primered then empi 8 spokes sold it before rego to finance the 64 resto custom. So never had a chance to really cruise in a VW show stopper and I cant wait.
how much did it cost u to get it slammed?
It cost 3 hours of my time, and about 7 beers and bobs ya uncle. It cost nothing to lower a type 3.
will u be coming to Sydnet BTW i have a 66 beetle:bounce
bit longer on a Beetle - so more beers,
course youd have to settle for the splines out " soft front" if you dont put selecta drops in
Ill supply the :beer so who wants to do it for me?
Not going to sydney but dropping a type1 is another story try Indian Automotive or pull the front beam throw an adjuster in it narrow it weld her up paint and detail put it back to together and the front is slammed and narrowed,The back is easier have fun and remember a VW looks shit on its tippy toes but looks kool slammed no matter what the buffs say.
Slammed squares on 5's rule, esp '64' cant wait to get my
gearbox and engine back in to be on the road again, catchin lifts and borrowing cars sure does suck.
