So where were you this time last year? projects moved on, plans to work on, places to see. Achieved it, ditched it? So where was everyone this time
LAST year......
Mine, heading to Disneyland Paris ... wondering if it would still be open....
I was in Chester, UK (about 30 mins south of Liverpool) visiting my sister. Quaint little Roman town - still got a nice large barricading wall all around the inner city which every tourist must visit when there.... All through the day, it was freezing (of course) and at about 6pm, it started to snow oh so gently like we had hoped it would.. So we went for a walk around town in the virgin snow and had snowball fights with random locals. Great fun!
I was doing EXACTLY what I am doing now. Diddly squat apart from work ........ What a boring life I lead ??????
Marc had just had surgery on a lump and we were awaiting the results........got the news that it was cancer on Christmas Eve and started Chemo 30th
December!
This year will definitely be much better.......he is in remission, so this year we all celebrate life!!!!
Kathy
Great one Kathy, now how can anyone follow that! Anything I was going to put down now seems a bit trivial. Anyway looks like you're going to have a much better Christmas this year, good luck to you.
Thank you
As usual, scraping the rust out of dear old Audrey and gettin' her pretty for a pink slip..rego always due 20th december.
Has anyone else got a more inconvenient rego date?
last chrismas, as always was crazy...
I have to shop for xmas by about October, much later than that and Im doomed. Finanically.
We have birthdays for my kids on the 2 nov, 7th Dec, 27th December & 3rd January. Add xmas and new years...not to emntions the parties for work and
sports plus the obligitory sleepovers the kids have...and im pretty much dead by the time schools back in in February.
Anyway back to what we were doing last xmas.....same as every other year...going insane!
And Kathy (and Marc)...ever year in remission is a great year! Our family has paid a very heavy price to this disease....but the best story...two
sisters have 15 years on the board following fights with cancer. One so severe we honestly didnt know if she'd survive. Not for many many
months.
so good luck with ur celebrations :kiss

Last xmas was a blast though this xmas will be my last in Oz for a very long time. My next xmas will be spent back in the UK freezing my nuts off
running around after the oldies! Now that sounds like fun , eh kids!!!:o
My light at the end of the tunnel is my rust free 65 bug , a dirty big oil heater for the garage and the 2/3 day vw shows in the summer months!!!!
Happy Xmas people!!!
