Hey guys I need some advise.

I have this really cute 73 Superbug
many little problems that are slowly getting fixed.
her biggest problem atm is the gear box

as it is the seal on fourth is broked

I just wanted to know is it worth pulling it apart and trying to replace it or should i just get a new (Or used) gear box?

What would you do?

What do you mean by the seal on 4th?? Is it leaking or you cant get 4th gear??

Anyway.......

Just get a good 2nd hand one.

You will pick one up for $150 - $300

Can you change it yourself?? If not, add $200 - $300 to get a shop to do it.
Change gear box mounts and rear gear rod coupler to poly while you are at it.

May as well check clutch while it is out............... ahhh, it never ends.

I can get it into gear but it wont stay ther i have to physically hold it in which is a real pain in the butt...
