Give eBay the flick it deserves, its getting soo costly to use for us sellers, check out eBid, free listings, only charge if your item sells, now thats the way.

maybe better for shops and wholesellers, but ebay is still better for the casual pawn broker i reckon

hmm i'd be worried that the freeness of it may take away from the sincerity, what system do they use in checking that the seller isn't just singing randomly up?

they use phone to check up! still away around it though i spose

Not enough people will find your stuff there. eBay is clearly #1 for buying or selling, even if the fee billl's can be a bit scary. For me it's not eBay that overcharges, it's PayPal. I'm going to start only letting international bidders use paypal, and make it mandatory for local bidders to use direct deposit, which many of them do anyway. I can only imagine how much eBay is turning over through it's paypal site........and they don't give anyone a break, even sellers who use it heavily.
