I'm keen to organise a cruise after the WA DOVW next year.
Has anyone got any ideas on how they would like to see it run?
You organse it, advertise it and tell everyone you know and they (meaning the WA VW crowd) will most likely come...At least some will....
I use to organise VW events here all the time, but after a while it got a bit tough to do...legally. In the past the NoH2O events were well received
by the VW Club of WA members...Infact, many of them are members of NoH2O also. I have been asking others to put on event here in Perth for a while
now...If you need a hand, drop me a line, if you need a contact list, do the same....If your part of the VW Club of WA, then chat to them
directly....
Best of luck!
Not meaning to steal your thunder MarkMark....
But I'm not going to wait till the next DOVW..
I was chatting to the Moose the other night about putting together a VW cruise in the new year...
Obviously with the whole Christmas/New Year then Australia Day following closely behind and I don't know if Valentines falls on a weekend next year,
there's also the Ace Ford Club run and Big Al's Poker Run, (and my birthday of course).....
Anyway... Any thoughts for a VW Super Cruise through Perth, Starting at maybe Fast Eddies Carousel, heading down to Freo, park and chat for a while,
maybe at Capt'n Munchies, then cruise up to Perth, go through the city and Northbridge, regroup at Barrack Street Jetty, then head up to Scarbrough
for a drive through the area and continue on up the coast to Hillaries...
Maybe in March sometime unless someone comes up with a suitable date before then...
Post it here...
Im in Danny....I'll get the word out on the NoH2O network...As soon as you can give me the dates...I'll even throw together any posters or adverts
you might want to make up....I'd love to organise more events, but Uni has my attention for at least one more year...Start a DipEd next year!
And I think we will be running the 'Free'n'Easy' again next year...The park down at South Beach will hopefully be available by then....Its trash
at the moment because of the South Beach development...:cry
See ya out there...
PS:...Get Moose to send me an email... I dont have his...

Hey, we could call it "GET THE BUGS OUT"...
But all VW's would be welcome of course...
Thanks for the offer of help Humpty. I'll talk to you soon.
Count me in for the supercruise too........and maybe my wife, she might want to take her Beetle too!
Hopefully Mildred will be done by then, so count us in for sure!!! :
Looks like we have the making of another cool event for Perth...We need it!
Spread the good word, make a date, we'll CU there!
Have a great christmas season everyone!
WAbaja/ Wa volksrodder/ Danny or who ever you are this week........lol
I would love to come on the "Get the bugs out" super cruise.
Have you any idea of a date yet ? 4-6th March is bad for me because it's Round 1 of the Western Australia Off Road Championship. But I would be there
any other date in March. Please let us know when you have a date and how we can help.
Cheer's
Chris
Perhaps if the people that want to come can post dates in here as to when they CAN'T make it, and we can make the run the one day that remains
available...
(Might be a Tuesday at 03:00 AM).. hehehehehe.....
Thanks Moose.. Desert Moose, Icecream, Gelati, Icecream Sundae, Vienetta......
Ho, ho...Your a funny bugger Danny!
Any date this far ahead will have to work...provided it doesnt clash with out major auto events.
'Spose if we looked to the circlework website (Brian White) and AEM (Paul Blank), we would have most of the local auto events covered...
Can anybody get hold of Murray Renolds? He'd have a good line on local runs I guess.
Doesnt one of the 'trader' mags have a calendar also?
And maybe Alex Forrest at the West, might have some info...
Some suggestions....
I've got Murray's number and I'll post it on the "other" forum anyway...
for now, perhaps Let's look at Saturday, March 11th.....???
Check the new thread for this event..
