Anyone have a visor on their type 3?

Ive got one for the squareback, but no brackets.

Help pls!

Here's the brackets on the visor that came with mine upon purchase. They're pretty old..
They're pressed out of stainless steel, the bolts are fixed to the visor.
A one piece would look pretty cool!
Happy to provide more precise information if they're what you had in mind.
Hope this helps.
P.s. the small holes at the back are a retrofit to screw them onto the rails but they're not necessary.
and the doors clear the brackets easily.

Nice Work!!

Thanks very much! Trying to find a way of mounting so that I dont have to drill into the roof!!

I have three holes on each side of my visor, its a solid one. Will get some pics up soon.

Anyone else have bracket pics?

Cheers!

single large bracket would be more stable and prob easier to make than a double.
the double will house spiders and will almost surely look crooked (unparallel).
i thogt some alu carpet edging would clip nicely ove the gutter as well as the visor ???

ain't got any though Gibb.

True, Karmen...
A solid visor will need strong clamping!
Hmmm..might be able to adapt some roof-rack clips for a tidy look.
They come in a good variety these days.
And almost anything can be chromed!
