hey ppl, just want to know who has an earlier notch than me, i have been told that my notch is very early and very desirable, especially in the UK,
but stuff them, its all mine,
if you know of any earlier than oct 62, can you please tell me, i really want to know how many of these are around.
but just one question, are the rare?
steve
Not sure on Notches Steve but this Squareback was a fairly early one. I was told it was a 1962. It is in the yard at Barnawartha, Victoria and is
(was!) complete with original engine when I last saw it in early 2003. What was the body number of your notch? Could you post a photo of the dash
and steering column of your notch so we can have a look at it now.

A mate of mine down Tassie had a Notch that was a August 62 model which he used as a beach buggy. It was sold for $200 to a couple of 14 year old kids
as a shooting vehcle.

hey empi how does your empi 5s fit under your guards.
steve
Empi, yours is one of the best Notch's. :thumb
Plus it's red, so it goes faster...
Hey Pretty Blue Bug. I like your car!!!!
Thanks Laura flattery will get you everywhere...
Steve-89, Type 3 s pre 64 have thinner width drums than 64 on cars so they bolt straight on. Later model cars require shorter axles (from a split
case gearbox) and axle tubes, if ya need to know how to do it call me.
