anyone selling one cheap?:thumb
So, is that folding seat standard on the fastback... or is that what makes i special?
No, they didn't have folding seats standard... thats pretty cool! i want one for my notch!
LOL, edited my post and accidently deleted it.
Standard on a wagon. What makes it special is that its a hatchback. Normally the window section stays put, you only have a useless sized boot good for
carrying 1 suitcase.
Where is the english translation hmm?
can't read the small text, but Kombiheck is combination tail.
yeah combination or 'variable rear' is another translation
think i had one in Sydney once 25 yrs ago....
delete bits after start in the thread www.threader and she opens up to the Kaefer site all in German but some nice stuff
these guys hold the guiness record of changing a vw eng from one car to the next in 1 minute 37 second including driving the car off the repair
site....wow it was in 1999 abif day.
i applied to translate their site for them saying they will get a few inquiries from Aus
only about 20 mins from Frankfurt International...you can take the train to them.
I will propose that aussieveedubbers who wanna see and maybe shop there will get collected by them.
As they give you a service car while urs is being repaired.
They also hire out old to NEw beetles and TRABANTS
very clever busines the oldest guy is 36 the girl on the team is 21
and they have some collectors goodies. a few nice olde cars for sale too.
Am gunna visit there in May !!
Has anyone been able to determine form the text if this is a factory prototype?
