Why does the silly RTA requires ANOTHER engineers report if the car has been converted in a different State? A friend of mine just bought a KG which
has been converted to RHD in QLD and has been registered for the last 4 years in QLD. When he took it to an inspection centre in Sydney to get the
slip, he was asked for a NSW engineers report which will cost him around $1,500 to get the car registered in NSW. Does this seem right? Anyone knows
where he can get the report for less than $1,500 considering they just have to check it, no work to be done?
Thanks
Bob
