Hey All!

Im just new to the site but noticed a sweet looking 67 Splittie on the northen beaches lately - does anyone know anything about it??? (i know this is probably a long shot but thought i'd ask anyway!)

Yeah sory about that - guess i was a bit brief...

Its the ice blue (or baby blue) with white top... i spotted it in Brookvale the other week and was keen to learn more about it.

So where are you guys located? Im in freshie and looking to pick up my first splittie... know any good ones for sale (I'm in a unit so not looking to do a massive amount of work on one... really just want to enjoy it on the weekends!!!)

I spot that black one in my area a fair bit - its not bad... got a mean look going on, and the lady spotted a sweet looking one last night... dark maroon - she siad it was looking the goods (not sure if it was a splittie though...)

Do you guys know a good VW mechanic on the northern beaches that i can get to do a once over on a splittie??? (i'll post this in the tech talk too:thumb)

I see a few splits round the northen beaches one of which is a 23window deluxe.

i am at dy and like you i am looking for a splitty i regularly see 5 splits in the area the black panel is usualy parked just south of the pie shop at collaroy on the grass in front of a house. i can recomend makella autos he specialises in vw and loves kombis his name is steve the shop is in harboard rd 20m down from pittwater rd up a steep drive
