Hi I've just discovered the world of ebooks, As an avided reader I was looking at downloading some into my mp3 player as I'm off backpacking for a year soon and don't really wanna haul books around.

So... 1. does anyone know of some good sites to download from (mp3 ones)

and 2. is 100mb the usual sort of file size or did I pick a huge one?

I have microsoft reader on my laptop and the same ebook for it was only 303kb.... ?

are you after audio books or ebooks?

I have hundreds of them, on all different subjects.

Gotta love an e-read, lol.

100mb is very large for an ebook. What format is it in?

i think he meant audio ebook if he's putting them on his mp3 player

Yeah, sorry, not up on all the terminology yet. Yeah the 100mb file was .mp3 (war of the worlds) which I guess was an audio book. I also downloaded microsoft reader for ebooks- same book (war of the worlds) was only 303kb- uses the pc's text to speach which is rather hard to follow, the audio book? was much nicer to listen too though.

Question- Are the Audio books available perhaps in .wma or a smaller format still? I have 20gig of space on my player but plan to take a lot of music.....
