Just wanted to see how everyone is going with the nice VINYL seats in their vw's???

any tricks we have to cooling the suckers down?
i just usually put towels over them...

but mm..any other tricks???

You have little choice. You need to fit seat covers. Either cloth or sheep skin. Get the non-fluffy sheepskin covers. Makers of custom seat covers have a range of different colours and they will embroider a VW symbol in the middle of the seat back if you want it.

Maybe it is time to think about upgrading the vinyl to leather ????? Hopped into my leather nice and they were nice and cool

leather? if it's in the sun it'll get hot and you'll stick to it and sweat...

i've been sitting in the dirt under my house (ie in the garage lol)

If anyone wants to lose weight, why pay for a sauna when you can hop into an old veedub and go for a half hour drive?? I swear I've lost 5kgs this week just by driving my Bug in the heat.... and I didn't have much weight to begin with!! :fakesniff:

pretty much what i do in my mazda...just put all the windows down..

but that's just because i'm too cheap to use the aircon :P:P not because it doesn't work.
