You need to move up to QLD before August, then its a shorter trip to Valla....:P

If you are moving to QLD tho, go the manx for sure!

VDUBXTC - January 22nd, 2006 at 10:52 PM

I know of 3 old fella's that drive their buggies around on a daily bassis, and 1 young fella. all here in newcastle they are there only form of transport.

i have driven mine a number of times in the rain and also use to ride a road blike . let me tell ya, i take the manx on a rainy day anytime.

shaihulud - January 23rd, 2006 at 12:02 AM

handycam.

I drove a buggy as a daily driver for years. I am single with a dog. I bought it in Wollongong, drove it to Canberra where I had it for 2 years. In winter I dressed for the snow. If I had stayed there I would definitely have fitted a heater.

I drove it via Highway 1 to Perth, restored and rebuilt it, drove it to Alice Springs up the Great Central Road and back via the Nullarbor.

I recently sold it to finance the building of my Manx SR which I intend to drive to Tasmania, to have a sea change, in a few months.

So Yes. I would have a buggy in Tasmania and I would have it as a daily driver as I intend to do just that soon.

Just make sure that you have good rain proof top and that you carry it with every where you go. I rolled mine up into a piece of large diameter white plastic sewer pipe which I attached to the front of the buggy.

ancientbugger - January 23rd, 2006 at 07:49 AM

I drive my buggy as a daily driver and have done for the best part of 15 years but then I'm not living in Tassie

duckydubless - February 1st, 2006 at 04:24 PM

We have a buggy as a daily driver and we fight over who gets to take it.........

pete wood - February 2nd, 2006 at 08:20 AM

Just been driving mine everyday for the last week or so. Would't have minded some air con yesterday :o

HEL-70Y - February 2nd, 2006 at 10:07 AM

thats one sexy buggy, and id drive that everyday, but i still think id have a shit box on the side for those cold days in winter

I use to drive mine everyday when i first got it but she drinks way to much fuel now and i work too far from home to afford petrol for it..my gti swift drinks 1/3 as much as my buggy...is that normal for mine to drink that much??
