theres a few computer ones that I only use when I need a question answered and a few adultish ones that I joined when I came across a link that I just had to look at.

Hmm other online shit that I used to do excessively was yahoo/monkey royale euchre... not really a forum but you get to know the regulars and chat using messenger. Alas I work now and as most of the good tournaments are on US time I miss out.

The Manx Dune Buggy Club on http://www.manxclub.com  is a good forum for buggy and VW info, especially engines and mechanicals. It has a members section and you need to be a member of the club to join that, and a public section which is still very useful.

I am a member of the club and I am shaihulud on the forum.

I am a member of this forum, mount gambier vintage and veteran car club and was a member of the manx club but never recieved a renewal.

Oh Yes. I forgot. I am also a member of the BD5 Yahoo group. I am helping to build a BD5 aeroplane on the weekends, because I am a volunteer at the RAAF Association Aviation Heritage Museum at Bull Creek in Perth.

We are building it as a memorial to a young man who was one of our cadets, who wanted to be an airforce pilot and who died in his teens of leukaemia. His parents gave us the money to do something so we got a half finished BD5 and we are going to make it into a top gun plane with his name as the pilot.

The BD5 which was designed by Jim Bede, is one of the smallest aeroplanes in the world. It is 4 metres long and has a wingspan of about 7 metres, with a pusher propellor or a small jet engine in it. They are faster and more manouverable than a WW2 Mustang fighter.

When I'm not doing that I am helping to restore (playing with and in) NX622, JO-D Digger the Avro Lancaster bomber in the museum.

All right you horse power freaks. My other toy has four, 27 litre supercharged Rolls Royce Merlin engines of 1,640 Horse Power each in it. That's 7,560 HP. How I wish we could get them running.
